As a someone who hates shopping, you won’t see me jumping to buy the next big trend in clothing. I like to stay in the bounds of timeless clothing (except, of course, if they were souvenir shirts, or geek ones that had movie references.) When everybody started wearing printed leggings, I was so sure that they wouldn’t suit me.
I’m not as sure now.
A couple of months ago, I was helping my mom look for light clothes to battle the humid pre-rainy season weather. We took a peek into Cotton On, and found that there’s this (slightly confusing) buy one take one sale. My mom successfully chose three articles of clothing, and she asked me to pick something out to complete the set. These blue printed leggings were the only thing that caught my eye. Mostly because they were blue, but also partly because they seemed like they were ones that I could actually wear.
They are very comfortable leggings. I like them a LOT. The problem, though, is that I don’t think I have enough plain long tops to wear it with. This is only the second time I’ve worn them, but I think I can come up with something to wear it with more of my stuff. What do you think?
This outfit: Printed leggings by Cotton On, Trinoma. Brown combat boots by Berca Shoe Store, Market! Market! Tetsuwan Atom shirt from Lolo Oboy’s. White tank from a tiangge somewhere. A white bag, inherited from my mom. Moon necklace from Punya, Circle C. You can hardly see it, but I had black earrings, too.
