That’s when I love you
Black dress, Kirei, P2000++. Strappy sandals, a gift Ana. Red accessories, borrowed from Karess.
Every time I’m reminded of the price, I feel my bank account crying. But the dress is definitely worth it! Agree?
I think I tried out around 8 dresses before getting to this one. Some of them I put on and took in a matter of seconds, but some I actually considered. I narrowed it to the top 5 to the top 3 until I finally decided on this one. Haha!
Like I said before, I don’t really do dresses unless I really needed to. But when I need to wear them, I actually like how I look in dresses. With this dress… I LOVE how I look in this dress!
This is my dress for Cocoy and Estela’s wedding. Their theme was black and red.

I’m still an arrow unshot
…fixed in a bow, I’m still, I’m still
- “Still”, Great Lake Swimmers
Off-shoulder blouse, Shaw MRT Station. Jag jeans. Nine West sandals, borrowed from Karess. Moon guitar necklace, Circle C.
I have never worn this blouse before this shoot. It’s not exactly office material, and for some reason the time to wear it hasn’t come yet. Until this shoot.
Now that I know how it looks on me—you have to admit, sometimes looking in the mirror isn’t the same thing—I can’t wait to really use it in real life.
On a side note: I almost took a line from Electric Avenue for the title of this post. Something about hanging laundry. Or maybe that “rock it in the daytime, rock it in the night” coda.

I took a room, an empty space for the summer
A plum-and-gold-and-brown top, Apple & Eve. Jeans, unbranded, Circle C. Brown shoes, Otto.
I was also wearing a wooden bracelet, a brown and black beaded necklace. And I brought a purple and wood bag.
This outfit is similar to the one from when I first posted about this blouse, but, this time, instead of the silver shoes and accessories, I had brown and wood ones on. Which would’ve been perfect with my background, if only you can see them. Haha!
About the photo
Taken at UP College of Human Kinetics. Propped my camera on a tree trunk. I LOVE the dried leaves contrasting with the green leaves on the trees. Yey summer!

And what it all comes down to, my friends
…is that everything’s just fine, fine, fine

Purple vintage shirt, Circle C, P85. Tuesday uniform coat, office issue. Slacks, hand me down. Naturalizer shoes.
Today I woke up to realize that most of my office clothes are still at the launderer’s. That left me to work with my t-shirts. And my pair of slacks. It’s Tuesday today, so I wanted to wear pink… And that narrowed my selection down to this purple vintage shirt right here. That plus my Tuesday coat (which I fortunately didn’t wear last week) plus our trusty ID made me look all office-y. Wheee! I didn’t even have to wear jewelry. Haha!
I love how our office gives us the freedom to wear anything we want, even though we were given uniforms (which we are strongly encouraged to wear). Anything we want, as long as it’s excellent and corporate and we look like we’re working in the building, that is.

Knit blouse, unbranded, P250. Slacks from…someone…I can’t remember who. Watch from Tomato. Naturalizer shoes.
You’ve already seen this blouse…but with jeans. LOL. This time, it’s with slacks! I love tops like this. Put it with jeans and it becomes casual. Match it with leather shoes and it becomes smart casual. Replace the jeans with slacks and you have a more business-y attire. Yey!
About the photo
Taken at 5:30 PM. My hair was a mess, I barely had make-up on, and the sun was setting. I was able to remedy the light problem by putting my exposure on high. But see that bit of yellow light on the wall? That’s proof of the sunset right there.
This photo was SO rushed because I was chasing the daylight…plus this was in the parking lot, so I wanted the shoot to be done before somebody came by.
And I do my little turn on the catwalk
Purple dress, SM Department Store. Sequined shoes, Manels. Silver earrings. White gold and mother of pearl necklace. Mother of pearl bracelet. Black sequined bag.
This is what I wore to a friend’s fashion show-themed debut. I’ve worn it only once before, so I’m SO glad to be able to wear it again. It seems such a waste to buy formal clothes to wear only once.
This is what I had in my bag in this photo. Same make-up, same accesories, same shoes. Different dress, different bag. Obviously.
My hair in this photo is a mess. Boo.

I mistook you for a stranger, my lady in a golden outfit
A plum-and-gold-and-brown top, Apple & Eve. Blue jeans, Jag. A black knit bag. A white gold necklace. Silver earrings. Silver shoes, Manel’s.
I wonder how many followers of the fashion rules are cringing right now. LOL.
On my way out to Tin’s debut in Esplanade. I was not about to get a cab wearing my formal dress. At 3 PM. No way. If it was already in the night, it would’ve be easier: I probably would have just thrown on a coat and I was fine. But no. It was 3 PM. So, no. I packed my dress into my mom’s bag before leaving. Haha!

I just wanna stop and thank You
Red smock blouse, Shaw Blvd. MRT Station, P150. Darn. I have to ask the lady there what the name of her store is. There are a lot of clothing stalls in the Shaw Station, but the one I usually go to is at the EDSA Central End, Southbound side.
Valentine’s Day. We were to wear red and/or white, but I chose to wear red for fun. Also wore dark jeans from Circle C—I didn’t realize they were dark green until I saw this photo—and a brown bracelet. And brown leather shoes from Otto.

they scattered to the wind and then they just kept moving on
Brown sweater tunic from my aunt. Unbranded jeans from Circle C, P250. Naturalizer shoes, also from my aunt, P1500.
This blouse is hard to photograph. Seriously. This is already my second attempt at it (thank you, thank you, thank you, Ana, for putting up with me) but I still can’t capture it. The blouse looks really nice in real life. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. Our photographer friend even said that if ever we get to do a shoot together, I should bring this blouse. But darn it, I cannot, for the life of me, translate its niceness into a shot. *sigh* And my hair was a mess today. Which doesn’t help this shot at all.
Anyway. I choose to dismiss negative thoughts. I’ll eventually nail the pose for this.
I like this blouse because, even though it’s sweater-y, it doesn’t feel too hot. Also, it’s long-sleeved, which has always looked nice on me. AND it’s long. I like long blouses. Heee~
Karess says I look like a Padawan in it. Haha!

I could have been in bare feet
Black leather heels, Naturalizer. Bought from my aunt for P1500.
My office shoes! You might have seen this pair of shoes in my previous posts, but I don’t think I ever featured them.
I’ve heard my mom rave about how soft and comfortable Naturalizer shoes were, but I never got to try them (or see them) until my aunt sold me her barely-used–or was it brand new?–pair.
And, you know what? My mom was right. It took me a couple of months of adjusting, though. (I wasn’t used to wearing leather shoes for long periods of time…not since high school. And even then I wore socks.) But once I got used to them, it was as if I wasn’t wearing leather at all.
Photo from yesterday’s shoot.
