Everybody wanna see what it’s like
I need a new necktie. I bought this one when I dressed as a Nerd Herder for the Chuck Season 3 premier day, but I really need to get neckties of other colors.
But the necktie isn’t the point of this post.
I started wearing glasses when, at ten years old, I realized that I was failing my math classes not because I sucked at math, but because I couldn’t properly see the math questions on the blackboard. I’ve been wearing glasses since, not because I want to, but because I need to. The truth is I don’t like needing to wear glasses, but what can I do? I’d be blind without them.
It really is an inconvenience—which is why I can’t understand why people who don’t need glasses insist on wearing glasses nowadays. You’re ruining your eyes, people!
So, since I don’t like glasses and I don’t like shopping… You can just imagine how drained I was when shopping for glasses.
Still, I kind of came up victorious, I think. My new pretties have ornamental silver flower things on the side, and though I haven’t worn full-rimmed glasses in a long time–I started wearing half-rimmed ones five years ago–I think that maybe I can pull this one off nicely.
I scored these lovely Covergirl frames with awesome photochromatic lenses for P6899 at The Optical Shop. The price itself is a bit steep, but I thought it was worth the value!

Same sentiments here. I have poor eyesight since I was young and I would pay a hefty amount of money just to have good vision and not have to wear eyeglasses.
Lalo na yung mga glasses na walang lenses… I don’t get it.
